An International Philatelic Exhibition show casing collections of world’s best philatelists will take place at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from May 28-June 5, 2016
The exhibition will be held under the patronage of American Philatelic Society (APS).
More than 200 stamp dealers and postal bureaus are expected to attend, as will hundreds of exhibitors filling thousands of frames displaying some of the world's greatest stamp rarities. Specialty societies and organizations plan to hold meetings and seminars every day
World Stamp Show - NY 2016 carries on the rich tradition of the once-a-decade international exhibitions from the past 100 years held in the United States, typically on a year ending with "6" or "7," honoring the anniversary of America's first postage stamps issued in 1847
