San Marino Is The Latest Country To Release A Set Of Stamps To Mark 50yrs Of Human Flight.Stamps Feature Yuri Gagarin And Alan Shepard

San Marino has released a set of stamps to mark the 50yrs of Human Space Flight By Yuri Gagarin.The stamp of €0.50 portrays Yuri Gagarin set against the Soviet Union flag.The Stamp has been designed by Federico Sarti .

The Yuri Gagarin went Aboard the Vostok 1 spaceship to make the first orbital flight around the Earth and then successfully landed back in the Saratov region. Gagarin left the space capsule, which brought him safe and sound through the atmosphere,The event marked the first milestone in the space conquest.

To coincide with the event San Marino also has released a stamp on Alan Shepard.The stamp is featured below.
