Umrao Kunwar Ji Archana  was named as Alol Kunwar by her parents Sri Jagat Narain Tater and Smt Anupama Devi

Umrao Kunwar Ji “Archana” got married at a tender age of 11 yrs to Shri. Champa Lai Heengad  from Ajmer.Shri. Champa Lai passed away after two years of marriage.Umrao Kunwar ji Archana  became the disciple of Poojya Pravartak Shri Hazarlmal Ma.Sa.

Umrao Kunwar Ji Archana  was actively involved in propagating Jainism and created spiritual awakening among people. Umrao Kunwar Ji Archana was regarded as Kashmir Pracharika. Adhyatma Yogini. Maha Yogeshwarl. Malav Jyoti. Pravachan Shiromani, by Jain Organizations from time to time

Umrao Kunwar Ji authored many books like Amra Manjari, Archana ke Phool, Archana ke Pradeep, Him our Atup, Archana our Alok.

its sad that sponsorer organisation think that buying this stamp in quantity is real prayer to her but actually they are making more harm to her popularity by promoting its hoarding therby making difficult for regular collecters to make its fdc's picture cards etc which become important part of jainism theme in years to come
