The design of the stamps shows Tagore writing and in the background is the prayer hall in Shantiniketan known as “Upasana ghar” at Santiniketan;Another Stamp portrays Rabindranath Tagore performing in his play ‘Valmiki Pratibha’ and a painting by him. The First Day Cover has portrait Of Rabindranath Tagore inset against one of his famous paintings.The Miniature sheet portrays his birth place, manuscript of some of his poems and the Nobel Prize.The Brochure displays some doodles and scribbles of Tagore. | ||||||
