Romania has honored Yuri Gagarin and Dumitru-Dorin with commemorative stamps .The “Cosmos 2011” stamps released yesterday marks 50yrs Of First Human Space Flight By Yuri Gagarin,50 years after the first session of COPUOS (United Nations Committee for Peaceful Uses of outer space) and 30 years of flight of the first Romanian in the Cosmos - Dumitru Dorin Prunariu. Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu was born on September 27, 1952.Dumitru Dorin Prunariu  is a retired Romanian astronaut who flew aboard Soyuz 40.
